Every dot (dit) is exactly 1 unit of time (1200 / WPM ms). Every dash (dah) is precisely 3 units. Inter-element spaces are 1 unit, character gaps are 3 units, and word spaces are 7 units—guaranteeing authentic international CW rhythm.
PARIS Standard Calibration
Speeds are calibrated against the international reference word PARIS (50 units total). Our audio synthesizer generates clean sine-wave tones from 400Hz to 1000Hz with 5ms cosine attack/decay ramps to eliminate key clicks.
